About this game
You steer Pip, a small sorting robot, under a conveyor belt, catching falling tiles on a tray that holds three. The tray works like a stack, so the last tile caught is the first one dropped, and choosing the bin is most of the puzzle.
Goal: Match three or more of one colour on top of a bin to clear tiles, finish each level's quota, and last until your three lives run out.
Tile Tumble is an original tile catch-and-match game built for the browser in the style of 1980s arcade cabinets: pixel art, a chiptune soundtrack and CRT scanlines, all generated in code. It is free, has no ads and needs no download or account.

Tips
- Clears made within 5 seconds of each other build a combo that multiplies the points for each clear.
- A run of 4 or more is worth much more than 3 (60 points for three, 100 for four, 150 for five), so let a bin build up when it is safe.
- Drop a bomb into your fullest bin: it clears every tile there for 30 points each, but it explodes on your tray if you hold it for about 7 seconds.
Questions
How do you lose a life in Tile Tumble?
You lose a life when a tile hits the rail below Pip or when a bin overflows past six tiles. You start with three lives.
What do wild tiles do in Tile Tumble?
A wild tile counts as any colour, so it can complete a run of three on top of any bin.
