About this game
In Cube Hop you guide Pip down a pyramid of 28 cubes, one diagonal hop at a time, changing the colour of each cube you land on. The rules shift between rounds, so a cube may need two hops, or flip back if you land on it again.
Goal: Turn the top of every cube to the target colour shown in the HUD to clear the round, collecting 25 points per change and a clear bonus.
Cube Hop is an original pyramid hopper built for the browser in the style of 1980s arcade cabinets: pixel art, a chiptune soundtrack and CRT scanlines, all generated in code. It is free, has no ads and needs no download or account.

Tips
- The Springhead uncoils and starts chasing once it reaches the bottom row; ride a lift while it is right behind you and it may follow you off the edge for 500 points.
- Hop onto a Droplet to freeze every foe for 4 seconds and earn 100 points.
- Catch a Glitch by landing on it for 50 points before it climbs the pyramid undoing your cubes.
Questions
Which key hops which way in Cube Hop?
Up hops up-right, Left hops up-left, Down hops down-left and Right hops down-right. Q, E, Z and C also work as the four diagonals.
What are the lifts for in Cube Hop?
Hop off the pyramid onto a lift and it carries Pip safely back to the top cube. Each lift works once per round, and any you do not use add 100 points to the round bonus.
