About Retro Pixel

Retro Pixel is a small, independent arcade of 39 original games that play instantly in the browser on a computer, phone or tablet. No downloads, no accounts and no ads.

Original work

Every game here is new: the characters, names, levels, pixel art, sound effects and music are made for this site. Only the classic mechanics are borrowed (falling blocks, brick breaking, side-scrolling shooting), the way every arcade genre grew. Each game is a single file whose art and music are generated by its own code, which is why it loads in a moment.

The daily challenge

Every day one game is the challenge for everyone. Post your best with three initials, arcade style, and try to hold the board until the reset at midnight UTC.
