About this game
Dust Buster turns a house into a maze: steer a robot vacuum through furniture-lined rooms, eating every dust tuft while four pets give chase. Each pet hunts differently, and the parrot can fly straight over furniture that blocks the others.
Goal: Vacuum every dust tuft in the room to clear the round without being caught.
Dust Buster is an original maze chase game built for the browser in the style of 1980s arcade cabinets: pixel art, a chiptune soundtrack and CRT scanlines, all generated in code. It is free, has no ads and needs no download or account.

Tips
- During one turbo, catching pets one after another scores 200, 400, 800 and then 1,600 points.
- The Dog aims a few tiles ahead of you, so a sudden turn can shake it off.
- A bonus item appears mid-room after 60 and 160 dust tufts and stays for about 10 seconds.
Questions
How do I chase the pets in Dust Buster?
Drive over a turbo socket. For a few seconds the pets slow down and can be caught, which sends them back to their basket.
Can the pets go through furniture?
Only the Parrot, which is also the slowest of the four.
