About this game
Orb Popper has you firing coloured orbs from a launcher into a honeycomb of orbs hanging from the ceiling. A dotted guide shows your path and its first bounce off a wall, so bank shots are easy to line up. After a set number of shots the ceiling drops a row closer to the line.
Goal: Clear every coloured orb from the field to finish the level, and don't let the orbs cross the line at the bottom.
Orb Popper is an original bubble shooter built for the browser in the style of 1980s arcade cabinets: pixel art, a chiptune soundtrack and CRT scanlines, all generated in code. It is free, has no ads and needs no download or account.

- Round length
- A level takes about 1-3 minutes, and a run goes on until the orbs cross the line.
Tips
- Dropping orbs pays far more than popping them: 10 hanging orbs cut loose are worth 550 points.
- Each shot in a row that pops a group raises the combo multiplier, up to X8, and a miss resets it.
- An orb that lands next to a Bomb sets it off even if nothing pops, which is handy for clearing stones.
- Swap the loaded orb with the next one when its colour has no good spot.
Questions
How do I get rid of Stone orbs?
Stones can't be popped. Pop or blast the orbs holding them up so they fall, or catch them in a Bomb's blast. Any left when the level ends are dropped for 20 points each.
When does the ceiling come down?
The Ceiling In counter on the right shows how many shots you have left before it drops one row.
Can I swap the orb I am about to fire?
Yes. Press Down, or tap the Next box on a touch screen, to swap the loaded orb with the next one.
